Get to know me in three:
- My home away from home:
- Anywhere I can feel the sun’s warmth on my face.
- The values that influence me:
- Honesty, compassion, and courage.
- My diversity story:
- I am the child of multicultural parents who shared a common socio-economic bond. They both grew up in poverty and were working class. My father is Black and Episcopalian and my mother is Jewish and Russian. My father also is a child of the foster system which shaped much of his life and views. I came out in my late teens as queer and recently I have been more comfortable sharing that I am autistic.
