Get to know me in three:
- My home away from home:
- Out of all the places I’ve traveled Peru has given me a different experience each time I’ve visited. You can find mountains, jungles, cities and beaches all throughout the country. And best of all, the food is to die for.
- The values that influence me:
- Integrity and Perseverance. My parents came here with absolutely nothing. They both worked hard and kept pushing forward no matter what obstacles they faced hoping for a better life for my brother and me. They have always told us to work hard for what we want but most importantly, to stay honest and true to ourselves.
- My diversity story:
- My grandpa is from the Andes Mountains, Huari. He is one of the few people in our family that knows the native language, Quechua. I hope to learn some of it before he goes.
