  • White Privilege and Race in Central Park – Let’s Talk About Amy Cooper

    This session centers race in a cross-cultural discussion of events in Central Park on May 25th, 2020. The purpose is to frame the conversation in the historical context of policing in the United States and build allyship and the skills to facilitate courageous conversations. To accomplish these learning objectives, the session first introduces a model for interpreting cultural differences before exploring the cultural and historical significance of “white spaces.” Then, facilitators take a deep dive into American history, focusing on the origins of “white privilege” and its continued impact in the present. Finally, the session explores strategies for moving the needle as allies.

  • Managing Inclusively: What You Need to Know about Your Black Talent

    Where is the Black talent in your organization or team? How are you ensuring this talent has access to the opportunities, relationships and networks they need to advance? In this workshop co-facilitated by a culture native and culture ally, people managers are guided through a journey to increase culturally competency and understand the experience of their Black employees.
