Practicing Inclusion

In this program students participants will:

Learn the best practices for inclusion
Understand the crucial distinction between behaviors and values
Accept that diverse people may share the same values but demonstrate them differently
Learn more about these distinctions
Reflect upon the power of the Platinum Rule (“treat others as they would like to be treated”) when it comes to practicing inclusion
Review examples of microinequities
Determine how microinequities can undermine our best efforts to be inclusive
Share practical inclusive behaviors
Offer opportunities to brainstorm solutions to realistic scenarios
